Bury Area Chess League

The Bury Area Chess League (BACL) has overall responsibility for this congress and makes an annual donation to help ensure its success.

The league, which has three divisions and runs a number of additional competitions, currently includes five clubs from the West Suffolk and East Cambridgeshire regions, making Bury St Edmunds the approximate geographic centre. The five clubs are Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge City, Ely, Linton and Stowmarket.
